2. Information We Collect

• Account information: Your name, email address, and hashed password (or Google OAuth identity).
• Uploaded bills: Images or PDFs you upload for extraction, stored so you can view them later.
• Extracted bill data: Vendor name, invoice number, GST, amounts, dates, and other fields extracted from your bills.
• Usage data: Upload timestamps and bill counts, used to enforce free-tier limits and manage subscriptions.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide the bill extraction service and store your extracted data.
• To enforce fair-use limits and manage your plan (free, monthly, yearly, or lifetime).
• To send account-related communications such as password reset emails.
• To improve service quality and fix bugs.

We do not use your bill data for advertising, and we do not sell your data to third parties.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure. Bill images are accessible only via your authenticated account. We use HTTPS for all data in transit.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Deleted bills are permanently removed from our servers.

5. Third-Party Services

• Anthropic Claude API: Your bill images are sent to Anthropic for AI extraction. See Anthropic’s Privacy Policy.
• Google OAuth (optional): If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google.
• Razorpay (payments): Payment processing is handled by Razorpay. We do not store card details.

6. Your Rights

• Access & export: Download all your extracted data as Excel at any time.
• Deletion: Delete individual bills from the app. To delete your entire account, email us.
• Correction: Contact us to correct any inaccurate account information.

7. Children’s Privacy

This service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The updated date at the top reflects any changes. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance.
